Important Anti-Doping Information
The United States Anti-Doping Agency (www.usantidoping.org) recently banned a product familiarly known as "Jacked," as it was found not only to have performance-enhancing effects but also to have deleterious effects on an athlete's health.
One of the main ingredients in "Jacked" is Dimethylamylamine which is a chemical also found in several products that are marketed as containing Nitric-Oxide (N0).

While the specific product "Nitric Oxide (NO)" is not currently banned by the NCAA or by USS, it is currently being investigated by the US Anti-Doping Agency.  In a recent conversation with representatives from this organization, they asserted that although the product itself is not currently banned, some of its ingredients are banned and their use is illegal, AND athletes taking substances containing "NO" may test positively for these other banned substances.

Taking performance-enhancing substances is illegal and can lead to testing positive at meets and subsequent suspension from the sport.  It can also be associated with long-term health consequences.  And, it is a form of cheating.
If you know of anyone using performance-enhancing substances such as these, speak with them and discourage their use.  You can also speak with their respective coaches and/or parents or directly contact the US Anti-Doping Agency - as they have an anonymous tip line.
Call USADA when you believe the integrity of your sport is compromised by doping.
The United States Anti-Doping Agency established 1-877-Play Clean (1-877-752-9253) as a direct telephone link for individuals who are concerned about fair competition.

When appropriate, USADA will act based on information that can contribute to its mission of eliminating doping in sport. Callers can remain anonymous.
